Download the following Letters: Christmas PTA Raffle Appeal to raise funds for the Urdd National Eisteddfod coming to Denbighshire in May 2022 Headlice Letter - Head Lice Fact Sheet These are the arrangements for pupils who were absent from school when the Flu immunisation was offered or who now wish to receive the flu immunisation - download here. Please read the attachments outlining the dangers of certain social media sites and in particular TikTok. Primary aged pupils are too young to access most of these apps, but we are well aware that pupils as young as 7 have regular access to these sites. Please be vigilant to ensure the safety of your child. - TikTok - TikTok Letter - Apps parents should know about Help with Maths and Reading Course Change of Menu Friday 5th November. There will be a Bonfire themed lunch on Friday - Bangers & Rockets (Hot Dogs), Firecracker Potato Wedges, Roman Candles (Corn on the Cob) and Catherine Wheel Jammie Dodger. Welsh Government Statement - Changes from 29 October 2021. If someone in your household has symptoms or has tested positive and you are fully vaccinated or aged 5 to 17 you should self-isolate and take a PCR test. If your test is negative you can stop isolating. Children aged under 5 - Children aged under 5 do not have to self-isolate or take a test if they have been a contact of a positive case in their household or otherwise. Ymwybyddiaeth Syndrom Downs – As October is Downs Syndrome awareness month, we will be holding a #dressupfordowns day this Friday, 22 October. Children may come to school in fancy dress, wear odd socks or their own clothes and there will be classroom discussions about Down's Syndrome. Following our work in class learning about refugees over the last half term, the pupils from Years 5 and 6 are eager to support a special cause that helps refugees settling in Wales. The Urdd are supporting families that have fled from Afghanistan by organising fun activities for them. If your child would like to contribute to this special cause, please follow the link - https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/urdd Urdd Membership Parents Evening Guide If you have a child that is at present in Year 6 or in the Nursery Class, or a child that is due to start the Nursery Class next September, you should follow the link below to Denbighshire County Council’s website to apply for a school place for September 2022. https://www.denbighshire.gov.uk/en/education-and-schools/school-admissions/school-admissions.aspx The closing dates for applications are: Applications for places in secondary schools (present Year 6 children) – 5 November, 2021 Applications for places in Reception classes (present Nursery children) – 19 November, 2021 Applications for places in Nursery classes (children born between 1/9/2018-31/8/2019) – 18 February, 2022
