Cylch Meithrin Christmas Fair
•
The Eco Council is organising a sale of second-hand goods on
Friday, 14th November. This is your chance to clear the house
ready for Christmas, and all this for a good cause!
We kindly ask that you give:
Any old toys, miniature cars, miniature dolls, any size is great!
Books you no longer read
Old cards or magazines.
Bring the goods to the box at the school's main entrance, or
you are welcome to send any goods with your child to school.
Our intention is to re-sell these toys and books on Children in
Need day. The profits will go towards the charity, and give a
second life to some toys rather than buying new things. Any
surplus goods will be donated to local charity shops.

It has been a busy half term in Years 3 and 4, and we are very
proud of the hard work and enthusiasm the children have
shown. Our theme for the next half term will be Norway. We
will be exploring the country’s culture, geography, and history
before preparing for Christmas. If you have any information,
artefacts or personal experiences related to Norway, we would
greatly appreciate any contributions. Please contact the school
office if you can help. There will be a homework task over half
term asking the children to gather information about Norway.
Please see the homework books for details. We would also like
to remind everyone of the importance of reading at home with
your child and recording in the reading record. Although we
read regularly in class, reading at home is essential for the
development of reading skills and understanding. Remember
that Ruthin Library will be open during the holidays, a lovely
place to enjoy books with your child. Thank you very much for
your continued support. Year 3 and 4 Teachers
